         What is water scarcity and its causes? 

        

            Today I will introduce a certain topic that is the most complicated in this innovative era. I will explicate the topic of water scarcity and depletion of freshwater from the different continents of the world.

1. WATER SCARCITY:

                                      Water scarcity is the shortage and depletion of water from different places where life exists. Water scarcity is the shortage of fresh water and the water crisis. Physical water scarcity is due to the shortage of natural resources of water in any place. Water scarcity is one of the most complications of the world. Water scarcity is the depletion of water due to which life depresses in any place. Water scarcity occurs where water is unable to meet the needs of the people. Due to water scarcity life is impossible. Economical water scarcity is due to the bad management of water resources found in any place. If we will not manage the resources of water then the water crisis will become the most complicated in the Future.

          According to different surveys, Millions of people in the world are unable to access fresh water for their needs of life. Even that people don't drink water properly due to this they succumb to different diseases. If water is available anywhere then this is not fulfilling the requirements.

   From the water that is found on the Earth in which only 3% water is fit for human consumption and use. About 70% of the water that is on the earth is mostly part of glaciers and is unavailable for needs.

   According to World Water Foundation Survey 1.1 Million people in the world do have not to access more water. They have a shortage of water. 2.7 Billion people find a scarcity of water in the world in at least a month of the year.

2. WHAT IS THE CAUSES OF WATER SCARCITY:

                                                                                             There are different causes of a water crisis and water scarcity in the world.

1. Water Overuse:

                         Overuse of water is a big issue in our society. We don't care about water consumption. We use water more than our needs. This is also the cause of water scarcity after a certain time. We use water for recreational functions and activities without any care this becomes a great crisis if the water reduces.

2. Water Pollution:

                      Water pollution is one of the big problems in the world that reduce freshwater. It is due to our carelessness. Water becomes polluted due to different chemicals that are mixed in freshwater and pollute this water. In the world most places do have not fresh water for drinking, people drink polluted water and succumb to different diseases.

3. Distance: 

                Many remote areas in the world are not close to water resources and do have not a proper system to attain freshwater. Deserts are part of these remote areas where people
find freshwater effectively. Natural Rain is also the resource in these areas to get fresh water. If precipitation occurs in these areas then people of these areas store the water for future use. Many places all over the globe that do not have proper resources to get water where people get water after many steps movement to their houses.

4. Global Warming:

                              Global warming is an important cause of water scarcity in the world. In Global warming, our average air becomes warmer and hot due to these heat waves water from rivers and lakes evaporates rapidly and drying up the water resources. Global warming is one of the effects that decrement the water resources due to heat waves that suffer the people of water by scarcity.

5. Groundwater Pollution:

                                 Groundwater pollution or illegal dumping is the cause of the scarcity of water. Due to the illegal dumping, the local supply of water succumbs. Groundwater pollution is a major crisis for those people who rely on and depend on freshwater. These people suffer from scarcity and crisis of water if they have no alternate water resources.

6. Natural Disasters:

                                A natural disaster like a flood is also a major crisis of water and shortage of water. Due to natural disasters freshwater also consumes and wastes that create depletion of water in the world. The natural disaster collapses the supply of local water. Natural disaster creates wastage of water that used by people for drinking purposes. After a flood, local rivers may no longer be suitable for drinking purposes because due to this freshwater becomes polluted.
