What is Climate , Climate Change and Impact of Climate Changes on Pakistan?

 Welcome Honourable and Respective Audience!

What is Climate, Climate Change, and Impact of Climate Changes on Pakistan?

Guys Today I will demonstrate and summarize the Climate and Climate changes. I will explain the impact of Climate change on Pakistan.

1. What is Climate?

Climate is the weather of any place for a long time. The weather that does not change shortly is known as Climate. Climate is the state of the atmosphere that is present in any place for a long period of time. While the weather is the state of atmosphere that is changed after a short period of time as hot or cold, as dry or rainy.

2. What is Climate Change?

Climate Change is the changes in climate patterns at global and regional levels at any place. Climate Change is the change in the condition of the atmosphere over a long period of time these changes are known as Climate changes. Climate Changes include warming of temperature, sea level rising, changes in rain or precipitation, etc.

Impact of Climate Changes on Pakistan

Climate changes have an adverse effect on the environment of Pakistan. Climate changes consider as the mother of all problems in 21 century. These climate changes are due to Global Warming that is caused by excessive emission of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Many developed countries like America, China, UK, and other industrial countries are the major contributor to the emission of gases in the atmosphere due to this global warming increase.

Due to a lack of proper understanding, people think that climate changes are due to the increase of temperature and population but it is due to the process of global warming. From global warming, the global temperature has already increased by 2 degrees. Pakistan is in the seventh number in the list of those countries that are affected by global warming.

Due to Global warming Pakistan is facing climate changes like severe droughts and sudden extreme rainfall. Pakistan’s rainfall pattern has been disturbed completely due to this. Pakistan is an agricultural country. Its economy depends on the agriculture sector because 75% of its population belongs to the agriculture sector and agriculture contributes 21% of the GDP of the Country. Extreme weather conditions are affecting the agriculture sector of countries that are the backbone of the countries' economies. Heavy rain falling is affecting the major crops like rice, wheat, maize, sugarcane, etc. By changing the climates Famers are unawares to predict the proper annual rainfall. Flood and heavy rainfall affect the crops due to this region face the severe droughts that affect the economy and progress of country and people in the rural area often faces poverty.

Pakistan is in the most perilous zone and presented with serious environmental changes. Global warming is melting the glaciers and will melt more glaciers in the future. Pakistan has more glacial ice than anywhere on the earth outside the region of polar that are 7253 are known. Due to global warming ice is starting to melt so that is the cause of increasing the chances of flood this Pakistan is included in the more dangerous region due to the change of climate. Due to glacier melting that is melt due to increase of heat by emission of greenhouse gases the sea level rising chances increase. Land sliding and heavy flood chances continuously increase due to an increase in heat. One estimation shows a hundred acres of arable lands being continuously destroyed every day due to ocean intrusion.

Reduction forests and the emission of gases from the automobile also affects the climate. Reduction in the population of trees also increases the chances of the flood because the temperature of the region increase. Extreme weather conditions such as cyclones and extreme monsoon because of the increased sea and atmospheric temperature. Due to extreme weather conditions and uncertain economic outcomes 20 % population of rural areas has been migrated to the major cities. Pakistan has less than 6% forests. This loss of forest causes floods, soil loss, and heat waves that affect the climate.
